PIAGGIO PORTER NP6 CHASSIS PROTAGONIST AT ECOMONDO 2023

16 November 2023 - The 26th edition of “Ecomondo -The green technology expo” has come to a successful close. This is the international exhibition dedicated to Green Economy hosted at the Rimini Expo Centre (7-10 November 2023). Organised by Italian Exhibition Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation and ITA-Italian Trade Agency.
The 2023 edition registered +15% participation as compared with 2022, with visitors coming from more than 120 nations, including growing representation from countries such as Spain, Germany, Greece, Serbia, Egypt, and Tunisia.

PORTER NP6 CHASSIS ON STAGE. The Piaggio Commercial 160 m² stand at Ecomondo 2023 (Pavilion A7) exhibited: a Porter NP6 Chassis Short Range Single Wheel and a Porter NP6 Chassis Dual Wheel in the new Optimus Range version, with a frame rating of up to 1,610 kg.

The two versions attracted the attention of many professionals and businesses operating in settings where compact dimensions, combined with great capacity, truly make the difference. In fact, Porter NP6 is chosen for its versatility by operators in various sectors to develop innovative equipment packages capable of meeting any professional needs in segments where characteristics such as compact size, performance, and eco-compatibility have become prevailing factors (urban sanitation, goods transport, landscaping, and many others).

FROM POLLUTEC IN FRANCE TO MUNICIPALIA IN SPAIN. It was a fall full of events for Piaggio Commercial, which renewed its presence in the most important European shows dedicated to the most innovative environmental solution, ecological transition, and urban services. Success for the Pollutec 2023 international trade show which was held at Eurexpo Lyon (Chassieu, France) from 10 through 13 October. This year, the leading show for innovative environmental and energy solutions for industry, the city, and territories celebrated 45 years.

This year, Piaggio Commercial, in collaboration with Italian and French bodywork manufacturers, presented the Pollutec public with three different versions of Porter NP6, demonstrating once again the flexibility and efficiency of the range: Porter NP6, fitted with BMV vacuum, a model designed for sanitisation and streets and fitted with a water tank and high-pressure pump. Porter NP6 fitted with a TECNOAMBIENTE skip for waste collection and treatment. Porter NP6 with VIVIEN GROUP outfitting to clean graffiti, fitted with a high-pressure hydraulic pump.
The participation of professionals from various sectors and stakeholders was just as high at the Municipalia show, Fira de Lleida (Lleida, Spain) from 17 to 19 October. The biannual show dedicated to equipment and services for cities and public agencies (which attracted the participation of sectors such as automation, street lighting, cleaning, information technology), hosted five versions of Porter NP6 this year.
