DID YOU MISS IT? NO PROBLEM: HERE IS THE PHOTOGALLERY OF “ANIMAL SPIRIT – PER AMORE DELLA VESPA”: THE PIAGGIO GROUP VEHICLES INTERPRETED BY THE AMERICAN ARTIST.
“Animal Spirit – Per amore della Vespa” (For Love Of Vespa, ed.) by Jeremy Fish (at the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera, Pisa, from 29 September to 15 November 2018) attracted a great deal of attention (on both sides of the Atlantic, one example is the report by Joe Rosato jr on NBC).
The fascinating exhibition was a surprising and original event, with works by the American artist showing animals together with Piaggio Group vehicles, portrayed to interpret their “animal spirit”. These photo galleries are for people who missed the show.

AN ARTIST OF INTERNATIONAL STATURE. Jeremy Dan Fish was born in Albany, in the State of New York, in 1974, and moved to San Francisco in 1994. He was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1997, where he specialised in painting and printmaking. His education and work experience have developed into a successful career as an artist and illustrator. Fish exhibits his work in the USA and in international galleries and museums, and also works as a commercial illustrator for corporate and private clients around the world. In 2015, he became the first San Francisco Art Commission City Hall artist-in-residence, on the occasion of the centenary of the building’s construction. He was also artist-in-residence at the Coit Tower in San Francisco in the summer of 2017.
In 2016, his Bronze Bunny installed on Haight Street was the largest public sculpture in California, financed through a crowdfunding campaign. In 2015 the mayor of San Francisco, Edwin M. Lee, proclaimed 19 November as “Jeremy Fish Day”.
